Scott loves his new flag pole and lights in our front yard
The boys truly are hard workers just like their dad; they helped prime Grandmother's house
And Walt got some practice driving too.
Scott and I had a great first double date of the year with Amanda and John at Roadhouse.
Blaine and his basketball guys have been living it up this season!!

Blaine has had an amazing basketball year because of so many of the seniors on his team.
The Lord has been so, so good to give him such sweet friendships.
We sure will miss Tristan, Jeremiah, Josh, Mark and Joe next year.
This guy had another promotion in CAP.
And promoting with your bestie is even better.
Aren't they so handsome?
Cornerstone JV had a fun scrimmage game.
Of course, Blaine and Walt were on opposing teams.....
In the end, Walt's team won out by ONE point.
Blaine and I made a visit to the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.
It did not disappoint.
We both enjoyed the beautiful camps.
Blaine and I also visited Houston Christian University on a Saturday morning.
Blaine decided we could leave early, but I still had a get a picture.
Scott and I attended Texas A&M women's BTHO breast cancer game.
I wasn't planning to go on the court again, but as you can see, things didn't go as planned.
Cornerstone's JV team had another scrimmage.
Once again, Blaine and Walt were on opposing teams......
But this time, Blaine's team were the victors.
Grandmother made this scrimmage, along with so many of both boys' games this season.
These guys worked hard all season.

Walt headed to TEENPACT's 4 day class this year.
He had an amazing week, growing in the Lord and learning about TX state government.
I loved the ride home after picking him up, because he talked the entire 2 hours home.
We are so proud of this kid and his commitment to Christ.
He is such a quiet servant leader; I know God is using him and will continue to use him in BIG ways!
We enjoyed our visit from Will Holt.
Our hearts are heavy to say goodbye to Walt Melnyk, but we are grateful for his faith.
After dealing with plantar fasciitus for over a year and trying several methods to kick it, Scott ended up having surgery at the end of February.
Kay and I waiting on Scott's surgery report from the doctor.
Scott has been a great patient since surgery.
Levi has mad skills on the Etch-a-Sketch!!
I traveled to Austin to pick up Walt from Teenpact, and I was able to spend the day with Uncle Carl and Aunt Pam. It was wonderful seeing them both.

Reading and getting dog snuggles.....
At the last minute, we realized Blaine could go to both his mission trip training and STATE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP tournament last weekend......
And boy are we glad it worked out the way it did.....
Cornerstone's Varsity boys won their first tournament game on Thursday morning......
And then after winning their Friday game, they earned their spot in the championship game on Saturday.....
Between the Friday game and Saturday championship game, Blaine was off to his summer mission
trip training. Before he departed, his team surrounded him to pray over him.
This moment was one neither of us will forget.
Almost every teammate prayed over Blaine; even one of his teammate's younger brother prayed for Blaine. It brought tears to my eyes, and many others.
Tristan, one of Blaine's teammates later told me it was that moment that made him realize they were going to WIN STATE!
AND THEY DID JUST THAT!!!!!
FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN SCHOOL HISTORY CORNERSTONE CHRISTIAN WON THE 2A TCAL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
It was a sweet birthday gift for Josh Kitts (a friend and teammate of B's)
